In Class Prompt #6

To be honest, when I see any political advertising, the first thing that comes to my mind is the word BLUH…Guess that it’s a word so I guess we could interjection. Every time my best friend and I see it blowing up our time lines on Twitter or when those lame commercials come on the TV or just anywhere we happen to see it, we immediately roll our eyes in disgust. I really do not like politics, in fact, I completely, undeniably loathe them! I am the type of person that is constantly trying to keep people happy and if you are that person and if you are that type of person too then you know what topics of conversation can cause major controversy. I really do wish I were into politics though because I know they are very, very, very important for our country.  They keep us organized which is definitely something a country needs, but whenever I see any type of political advertising I just cannot help the urge to want to get off Twitter immediately or turn off the TV. I have just always hated politics. Back in high school, I dreaded going into third period Government with Mr. Kline. It just did not interest me at all so, maybe that is the culprit as to why I can’t stand it. I would say I’m more of a Republican than a Democrat but I really do not like either of the competing candidates. I feel that we need to pick a person on their views of running the country rather than their views on social issues.
